the baby-sitters club is this movie based on a series of books about these girls who started a buisness where adults only have to call one phone number to reach seven different baby-sitters. The five of the girls are thirteen (Kristy,Claudia,Stacey,Mary Anne, Dawn) and other two (Mallory and Jessi) are eleven. Kristy is the president of the club and is a real tomboy who just found her father who she hasn't seen since he left her mom and her. and her three brothers. Claudia is the vice president and an artist/fashionista who has to take a test in summer school, and if she doesn't pass, she'll have to repeat seventh grade. Stacey is the treasurer and is very sophisticated. She meets a seventeen-year-old named Luca while she's babysitting and he doesn't know she has diabetes or that she's only thirteen, and falls in love with her until he find out when a bouncer won't let her into a club because she's underage. Mary Anne is a shy, sensitive girl who has this mean girl named Cokie try to steal her boyfriend, Logan. She is the club secretary. Dawn is the alternate officer and she cares a lot about the enviroment. A goofy guy named Alan Gray has a crush on her, but she thinks creepy. Mallory and Jessi are swept up in all the drama. Worst of all, while they're all hosting a summer day camp for the kids they baby-sit for at Mary Anne and Dawn's house, their next-door neighbor, Mrs. Haberman doesn't like the day camp and doesn't want the girl to put the club office in the unused plant nursery. The BSC (Baby-Sitters Club) must get permission from the town council before they can move the office into the nursery. Cokie and her friends try to ruin the building and make seem like the BSC did it so they won't get in trouble. Meanwhile, the BSC has a fight because Kristy's barely ever around. Kristy told Mary Anne about her dad, but when Mary Anne won't tell them, everyone but Kristy and Dawn are mad at her. Mary Anne tells Dawn about Kristy's dad, and when Kristy doesn't come to the thirteenth birthday party they throw for her. They hop in Luca's car and he drives them to the amusement park, because Kristy told them she was there. On the way, they see Kristy walking home alone in the rain. They pick her up and she sleeps over at Mallory's house with the other girls. Claudia passes the test and she gets to pass on to eighth grade. Kristy apologizes to her friends for ditching them. Logan stays Mary Anne's boyfriend. Stacey and Luca kiss before he goes back to Switzerland. The BSC decides to continue using Claudia's bedroom as their office and fix up the plant nursery. They have a celebration for Mrs. Haberman. At the celebration, Alan asks Dawn to go to the movie with him, and she says yes. Finally, one of the kids named Jackie Radowsky hits his first home run and nails Cokie and knocks her into a Dumpster. The movie is rated PG.
